As editors on the Researching Internal Displacement Coordination Team, we are keen to hear from: researchers, practitioners, policy-makers, students, artists, people from displacement-affected communities… and anyone with an interest in internal displacement.
If you have a piece of research or analysis shedding light on internal displacement issues that you would like us to consider publishing, then please just drop us a line! We can publish original research, analysis and creative materials on internal displacement in two main formats currently.
Firstly, our Working Papers on Internal Displacement series publishes original research on internal displacement and internally displaced persons (IDPs).
That series provides an Open Access platform for publishing high-quality paper-length research by members of the networks hosted on the Researching Internal Displacement website as well as by other researchers on internal displacement. Working Papers are prominently displayed as a resource for scholars and practitioners worldwide. Papers may be submitted in English, French, Spanish or Arabic. See the criteria for publication here.
Secondly, our Blog series offers a place to publish short pieces of writing, artistic productions and other research outputs, policy briefings and think pieces on internal displacement from our networks and others in a conversational and informal setting. We expect these posts -whether in English, French, Spanish or Arabic – to be engaging and insightful, and we welcome comments on the pieces published too. How to contribute a piece or comment on a piece.
Alongside these series, we also publish news from our networks and affiliates, and provide details of upcoming events that we are running. Moreover, we host a range of other resources on internal displacement. This includes links to our free online training course on ‘Internal Displacement, Conflict and Protection’ if you are keen to learn more about the field.
If you have other questions about Researching Internal Displacement, then please contact us.
We look forward to working with you!
