This event is organised by the UK Academy of Medical Sciences (AMS) and the Internal Displacement Research Programme (IDRP) and London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) at the University of London. Drawing on reflections from our jointly-convened February 2021 expert workshop of over 30 leading researchers in health research from fifteen countries, the event will (1) present our key empirical findings and policy takeaways for enabling IDP health in conflict contexts, (2) start our discussion of the implications for policy and operations with high-level speakers, and (3) launch our innovative global ‘Health and Internal Displacement Network’ (HIDN).
